Mobilephones and Bees

I had an idea for a film script once which involved a lonely travelling beekeeper who goes around the country ironically fertilizing the world with his travelling beehives on the back of his lorry. These two next blogs reminded me of my lonely beekeeper, one from boingboing and another from Slashdot. Mobilephone radiation is causing the bees to vanish so preventing them from pollinating the world. Where have all the bees gone? They're clearly lost and can't find their way home. Einstein once said if bees stop pollinating the world, the world will have only four years to live...
